In the proud possession of the Blue Flag and located on the Randmeren and the Veluwe, Jachthaven Strand Horst Ermelo offers every conceivable facility for the demanding water sports enthusiast.
On the Water
The marina is located on lake Wolderwijd, wich has many islands with docks. The lake is large and deep enough for hours of sailing pleasure. The immediate area has much to offer for daytime recreation. And if you would like to sail a little longer, you will be on the IJmeer in about 3 hours, from where you can also enter the river Vecht. If you sail through the Veluwe, you can reach the Ketelmeer in about 4 hours, where you can turn right into the IJssel or left into the IJsselmeer. Via the Lovink lock you can enter the Flevopolder to enjoy an unparalleled beautiful nature. For safe and prepared boating navigation you can use the Biggerworks Nautical Maps.
The center of Ermelo
The center of Ermelo, with its many shops and restaurants with nice terraces is very inviting. The weekly fair every Tuesday in August is a must. The villages Horst and Telgt with their beautiful farms, meadows, corn fields and forests are equipped with beautiful cycle paths and hiking trails. Harderwijk, Putten and Nijkerk are also easily and quickly accessible via beautiful cycling and walking paths and the ferry takes you every 40 minutes to the other side, to Zeewolde.

Blue Flag
For the eighth consecutive year, we are proud recepients of the Blue Flag. Together we can ensure that this flag continues to fly at our marina for many more years to come. We welcome suggestions concerning environmental sustainability. In the harbour office we have the Blue Flag pennants, which you can get for free if you meet a number of conditions.
We are privileged to carry the Blue Flag, because we are committed to proper environmental management and it shows that we meet certain criteria concerning safety, quality, service and the environment.
The Certified Environmental, Safety and Quality Foundation (KMVK) is responsible for the implementation of quality and environmental labeling for recreation in the Netherlands. The Foundation’s website provides an overview of the international significance of the Blue Flag.
